As an Assistant Instructor, you are certified to teach all aspects of skin and scuba diving under the supervision of a NAUI Instructor.
About the program
The NAUI Assistant Instructor rating is a NAUI leadership-level certification.
The program introduces students to diving instruction basics and tests them in the fundamental water skills required for capable assistants. Certification authorizes you to assist active-status NAUI Instructors in dive training.
This is the best possible way to develop your instructional skills. The rating can be a step toward full Instructor, or an end in itself - match your time, talent and interests with the NAUI programs near you.

Vedran Dorušić is a NAUI Course Director (#33934) and Instructor Trainer, and the owner of Foka Diving Center. As Course Director he leads the NAUI PRO programs at Foka: Skin Diving Instructor, Assistant Course Instructor, Divemaster and Instructor Training. He has created or co-created many projects and is an underwater archaeology enthusiast. He has been training divers and instructors on the island of Pag for more than 20 years.
Path to the rating
You hold NAUI Master Scuba Diver and NAUI Scuba Rescue Diver (or an equivalent), with at least 20 logged open-water scuba dives.
You are introduced to diving instruction basics and tested in the fundamental water skills required for capable assistants.
Certification authorizes you to assist active-status NAUI Instructors, teaching all aspects of skin and scuba diving under their supervision.

We agree the schedule, the price and your start date.
