About the program

The NAUI Divemaster is the highest NAUI leadership-level certification, with the exception of Instructor.

The program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open-water dives for certified divers.

Many Divemasters work full-time or self-employed, supervising certified divers during club, store, resort or charter activities - repeatedly enjoying the adventures they introduce to their clients.

NAUI Course Director #33934

Vedran Dorušić is a NAUI Course Director (#33934) and Instructor Trainer, and the owner of Foka Diving Center. As Course Director he leads the NAUI PRO programs at Foka: Skin Diving Instructor, Assistant Course Instructor, Divemaster and Instructor Training. He has created or co-created many projects and is an underwater archaeology enthusiast. He has been training divers and instructors on the island of Pag for more than 20 years.

Path to the rating

  1. Entry requirements

    You hold a NAUI Assistant Instructor rating - or NAUI Master Scuba Diver and Scuba Rescue Diver - with at least 60 logged open-water dives.

  2. Leadership training

    You train as an experienced, knowledgeable diver to organize and conduct open-water dives - the highest NAUI leadership rating below Instructor.

  3. Leading certified divers

    You practise organizing and conducting enjoyable open-water dives and dive trips for certified divers.

  4. NAUI Divemaster certification
