How Foka Diving Center collects and protects your personal data.

Data controller

What data we collect

Contact form: when you send an enquiry through our contact form we receive your name, e-mail address, an optional phone number and the content of your message. The message is delivered to our inbox through the Resend e-mail service.
Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, the time of access and browser type, for security and the stable operation of the website.

We currently do not use Google Analytics, advertising tags or other marketing scripts. See our Cookie Policy.

Purpose and legal basis

We process contact-form data solely to answer your enquiry and to arrange the diving services you ask about. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and taking steps at your request prior to a contract, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and processors

To operate the website and answer your enquiries we use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

Hostinger - website hosting and server logs.
Resend - delivery of contact-form e-mails.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (in third countries). In that case the transfer is safeguarded by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which they are deleted. Technical server logs are kept for a short period, as a rule up to 30 days, unless a longer period is required to resolve a security incident.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data and to its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
