About the site
Triget is an islet off Pag’s northern shore facing Velebit.
It is abundant in marine life thanks to its location, and it is best visited it in the morning hours, when one side of the islet is bathed in the light of the rising sun, while the other is still sleeping in the shade.
Triget is an islet off the northern shore of Pag, facing the Velebit mountain. Thanks to that position it is abundant in marine life, and the time of day changes the dive: in the morning one side of the islet is bathed in the light of the rising sun while the other is still sleeping in the shade.
The maximum depth is 30 metres, so the profile is a little shallower than most of our boat sites and the bottom time is a little longer. An average dive lasts about 45 minutes.
The minimum category is Advanced and you need a dive logged within the past three months.
The site rewards divers who move slowly and look, rather than cover distance. If you can choose your time, take the first boat of the day: the light is the reason this islet is worth diving in the morning.
