Tegule (lat. tegulae, Pl.)

A pile of ceramic tiles, specifically imbrices and tegulae, which in Roman times were roofing materials, lies at a depth of roughly 20 meters. They are mostly stuck to each other and to the rocks below them, thus forming a small artificial reef.
