The bay is called Kolanski Porat because in winter the locals from Kolan used to bring sheep from the mainland to the island by boat. The shallower part of the bay has many larger or smaller gaps that look like submerged neighborhoods of some sort of undersea city, and they indeed teem with life. From these rocks and crevices, the seabed’s topography descends into the depths, so this place is ideal for all categories of divers. At 24 m there is a Byzantine-era lead anchor stock that serves as a landmark for diving toward the ship and surfacing after the dive.
