About the site
Ušatište is a reef off Pag, the same one dived at the Gorgonije site.
The wall is dotted with crevices and holes full of marine life, among them red sea fans, and the bottom drops to 39 metres.
Ušatište is the same reef as Gorgonije, only the dive is led with a different emphasis. Instead of heading straight for the red sea fans, here you follow the reef itself and its structure, and the life in the cracks and holes of the wall. The profile stays the same: you descend to a maximum depth of 39 metres, spend the planned time along the reference and return the same way. Because of the depth the no-decompression time is short, so this too is a calm, unhurried dive. An average dive lasts about 45 minutes.
